my story
My academic journey at John Brown University, a Christ-centered institution, equipped me with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management and a Master of Science in Leadership. It was here that I learned to serve with my head, heart, and hands, a philosophy that has guided my entire career.
With over 30 years in Corporate America, my expertise spans Human Resources, IT, Healthcare Administration, and Social Service Training. These diverse roles have honed my skills in building enduring professional relationships and delivering exceptional client service. Yet, it was through my personal challenges and triumphs that I discovered a deeper calling – to empower and uplift women of color and disadvantaged youth.

'Emboldened a Better You' is a manifestation of this calling. Rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to live a life of purpose and confidence, my coaching and consulting services are tailored to help you discover and walk in your God-given potential. Inspired by Jeremiah 29:11, I advocate for a growth mindset, empowering you with the courage to embrace your unique path.
When I'm not coaching, you can find me reveling in the joys of family life with my husband Dennis, our children, and grandchildren. My downtime includes enjoying outdoor concerts, traveling, indulging in a good read, and staying active with a vigorous boxing workout.
